August 24 & 25 High Performance Catamaran Clinic – DATE TBD
High Performance Catamaran Clinic featuring Nacra 15 and 16 cats for $305 per person with a maximum of 6 participants. Plus they will do an optional foiling experience each day late afternoon on a Phantom cat for $155 per person with a maximum of 6. The clinic will be coached by Olympic level cat coach Robbie Daniels. It is open to teens and adults with intermediate and above sailing experience. This event is limited to the first 6 to register for the clinic and first 6 for foiling. The event will be held at Ft. Pierce, FL.

Year-round Sailing Program – Starts Saturday, September 7, 2019
This is a program designed to prepare students for competitive racing events.
Year-Round Class Schedule
There are two sessions for 2019-2020:
September 7, 2019 – December 21, 2019
January 2020 – May, 2020
Classes are held on the first 3 Saturday’s of each month from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Cost is $275 for a Fall or Spring session for O’pen Bic, Optimist and 420 Sailors.
Cost for 1 year is $500 for O’pen Bic, Optimist and 420 Sailors.
Students must be Junior Members of the TCYSF ($30).
Recent Summer Camp attendees will have already paid the Junior Membership fee.
Boats are provided by the Foundation.
2019 Florida East Coast Series
Regattas in the series are stand-alone regattas as well as being part of the overall series. Each regatta score will be compiled to determine the series winners – competitors do not need to register separately for the series. The winner of the series will be awarded the Florida East Coast Series Champion Perpetual Trophy
September 29, 2019 – 12:00 p.m. Florida East Coast Series, Regatta #1
Held at USCMC (Jensen Beach – Martin County). This regatta is open to Opti’s, High School 420’s and O’pen Bics may register to race with one design scoring in their class.
October 13, 2019 – 10:00 a.m. Florida East Coast Series, Regatta #2
Held at Melbourne. This regatta is open to Opti’s, High School 420’s, and Open Bic’s may register to race with one design scoring in their class.

Held at Vero Beach. This regatta is open to Opti’s, High School 420’s and Open Bic’s may register to race with one design scoring in their class.

FLORIDA EAST COAST SERIES REGATTA #5

DECEMBER 15, 2019 – JAYCEE PARK – START TIME: 11:00 AM
This regatta is in memory of Parker Whitehead, a bright, handsome young man, with much promise and an intense interest in all sports. Parker passed away at the age of 15, a victim of cancer.
Parker would be pleased to know that other young people can benefit from his parents’ support of sporting activities such as this regatta, giving them an opportunity to learn self-confidence, self-discipline and teamwork, while having fun on the water.
The regatta is open to all boats of the Optimist class (including wood, plastic and fiberglass hulls), Collegiate 420. (ie., No spinnaker or trapeze) and O’pen Bic. They will race and be scored in 4 classes; the Optimist Gold class will consist of Optimist sailors with 1.5 years or more of sailing experience, all other Optimist sailors will sail in the Silver class, a 420 class and an Open Bic class.
